12/5/2009-PIE MK1

KK, Pie time :)

PREP: 15 mins
COOK: 40-60 mins

Preheat oven to 180 c

Tesco pastry mix x1
Dried soya mince x1 mug full
Mushrooms approx 10
Medium onion x1
Olive oil a bit
Vegetable stock cubes x2
Mixed herbs some

  • Grease pie dish, mines a glass one, about 8" diameter, 2 1/2" deep.
  • Mix pastry according to packet
  • Roll out! Line dish with it, Make a 'pie lid' using the dish lid as a stencil ;)
  • Chop onion, fry in olive oil in a saucepan
  • Mix soya mince with equal water and both stock cubes, add to pan
  • Chop mushrooms, add them.
  • Add mixed herbs to mix, teaspoon approx
  • Fill pastry with mix, place lid on and prick the top with a fork, (10 times??)
  • Place in oven for approx 40-60 minutes depending on how crusty you like your pastry.
